Jackson Douglas (born Douglas Jackson in 1969) is best known for his role as Jackson Belleville in the television series Gilmore Girls, for which he's also directed the Season 5 episode To Live and Let Diorama and Season 6 episode Welcome to the Dollhouse. He also wrote and directed the movie short Brown Eyed Girl.
Douglas met voice-actress Alex Borstein (MadTV and Family Guy) while performing at the ACME Comedy Theater in Los Angeles. He proposed to her during the taping of a MadTV skit, and married her in 1999. They have a son, Barnaby Borstein Douglas, who was born on September 8, 2008. Also during his time at the Acme Theater, Douglas met and became roommates with actor/comedian Adam Carolla. According to Carolla, when Douglas was younger, he had a shopping cart in his room, on the third story of an apartment building.
Douglas and Borstein recently mixed business with pleasure in the upcoming 2009 comedy For Christ's Sake, in which Borstein stars and Douglas directed. The film is currently in post-production.
